This page contains links to pages I have created for family and friends to view. Although the information can be viewed by anyone, it will probably be of no interest to the general public.
Here are some links to recent issues of the JAHVMA, of which I am the editor-in-chief. These are PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files, so Acrobat Reader is necessary to view them. They are large files, so they may take a while to download with slow connections. These files will require a user ID and password to view.
There are also sample issues of the JAHVMA, which can be viewed without a password. These PDF files are abbreviated copies of recent issues. They contain the covers, tables of content, my editorials, and some sample pages.
Back in 1997 when I retired (sort of), Nancy and I had to make a decision about where we were going to move. To make a long story short, after some looking around, particularly in Texas, we decided to stay put in New Jersey and remodel the house we had been living in for nearly 10 years. We ended up converting a small 1960's ranch-style house into a contemporary (prairie-style) two-story house with an adjacent pool house. We had a very good architect and builder, and have been very pleased with the results. The reconstruction also involved major changes to the landscaping on our one-acre lot. Over the past several years since the completion of the remodeling project, the landscaping has been continuously fine tuned.
Here are some pictures of the house before the remodeling took place and of the remodeling process. Believe it or not, we lived in the house while all this was being done. The project started in July 1998 and continued through the summer of 1999. For the first set of pictures, click on the link below:

Here is a random sampling of pictures of the outside of the house and the landscaping since the project was completed. There are also some pictures of our cats and fish. The same instructions as above apply to navigate the pictures.
